Gabriela began her professional training in Mexico in 1998 with the physical theatre company Teatro Subito directed by Rafael Degar, who trained and mentored her for five years.
In 2003 she was awarded the "Best Young Actress" prize for her part in "Los Hijos de Epido". Between 2003 and 2007 she lived and worked in Chile.
On her return to Mexico (2007), she joined Multi-Award-Wining artist Abraham Oceransky´s creative team and became his personal assistant.
In this role she focused on the development of the project Teatro Bicentenario which led to the construction of Teatro La Libertad in Jalapa, Veracruz and became one of the most important stages in Mexico.
