Performing Artist
Gabriela is a physical theatre artist based in Cambridge, UK. She is passionate about collaborative creation and has dedicated her career to joining and contributing to established theatre companies.
Her work spans Mexico, Chile, and the UK, where she has taken on diverse roles as an actress, director, producer, and trainer.
Gaby takes pride in carrying forward the legacy of Latin American acting and movement analysis techniques, which emerged from Meyerhold’s biomechanics, Butho theatre and take roots in the traditional Latin American cosmovisions of life.
By doing so, she helps to decolonise performing practice and to broaden the perspectives that shape theatre and movement.

Her approach to emotional exploration is based on body psychotherapy perspectives and guided by their ethical framework, drawing on her training in trauma therapy.
